500 servings per hour thanks to automated Grab & Pay in mobile food containers

ROKA Werk, the market leader for sales systems in mobile catering, is entering into a strategic partnership with Tim Lösch from Visionary Concepts. Together, the partners are implementing an innovative solution that will make mobile catering more efficient. Peyman Rahimi and his company PerLease are also on board as another strategic partner. As Germany's leading personnel service provider in the catering and hospitality sector, he is convinced of the concept and is staffing the first container nationwide with his personnel.

The automated Grab & Pay system enables high-frequency areas to be used efficiently for catering purposes – without high personnel costs. Thanks to state-of-the-art vending machine technology, a wide range of food concepts can be implemented: from fried snacks to cold dishes and desserts to full hot meals. Unlike traditional vending machines, Vendin' Fresher offers freshly prepared food behind the machine. While dispensing and payment are fully automated, fresh supplies are prepared in the container's professional kitchen area. The inclusive concept has already won several awards.

With ROKA as a partner, the system is now location-flexible and can therefore be used for event catering, seasonal assignments, or stadium and trade fair catering.

"With this solution, we are creating a whole new dimension in mobile catering. The system requires very little staff, training times are minimal, and the serving and payment processes are decoupled from the staff. The whole thing is a location-flexible self-service concept—fully designed for efficiency," explains Volker Beck, Managing Director of ROKA Werk.

The sales units are ideal for high-traffic locations such as festivals, stadiums, and city festivals. But the vending machines are also impressive as stationary solutions, for example on campuses, exhibition grounds, and in amusement parks.
